Cattle Cottage Phase Two

Back in 2023, our own Store Manager - Kenadey and her husband began remodeling his grandparent's farmhouse into a home for their growing family of five. While Phase One of the project was in construction, the work for Phase Two was already in design. Along with remodeling the entire home, they decided to add on 2,500 additional square feet and remodel the remainder of the home. Instead of selecting more traditional design elements, Kenadey chose to push the envelope and make every single square foot of their home personal. The vision was to create a space that boldly represents their family. Every room is unique and creates a moment as you walk through the home. Although working with an older home can bring challenges, it's always special to uncover the character and history of the original home through the remodel process. Throughout the home, the goal was to seamlessly combine the new elements with the existing home. Kenadey loved designing her home and implementing personal details throughout every single square foot.
