The Ivy Cottage Kitchen
This residence holds a special place in the hearts of those at 319. With an abundance of affection, the homeowner embarked on a remodeling journey. Unfortunately, she couldn't witness the fruition of this transformation due to her battle with cancer. However, we are overjoyed to have captured these images, serving as a tribute to her and her exquisite abode. The cottage aesthetic is profoundly pronounced in this dwelling. From the interior to the exterior, the house exudes a wealth of natural charm, a quality we aimed to accentuate and rejuvenate. It stands as a remarkable dwelling for its future inhabitant, and we eagerly anticipate discovering who will cherish it next. Our dear Dixie was not just owner Katie's aunt but also an essential part of 319 from the beginning. Her absence is keenly felt, especially as we imagine how much she would have loved her Ivy Oasis.
The Beautiful Blue Build
Engaging a fresh color palette posed an exhilarating challenge throughout this project. The client's aspiration for a streamlined and sophisticated ambiance within her abode - a space where everything has a place! Each detail was carefully chosen, creating a feeling of neat arrangement. The addition of gray tones not only made the home cozy but also blended well with the blue colors. The space feels very personal, with many unique touches like the accent dining wall and the bold choice of Cambria quartz. Together, these leave a strong impression. The result is a wonderfully impressive display of beautiful blue design.
The Ranch Build
For a designer, hearing a client say, "This is the ambiance I wish to create in the space, and I have complete faith in your expertise," is incredibly satisfying! It's evident in every aspect of this project that we achieved precisely that. Meticulous planning is evident in every element, right down to the choice of light bulbs for each fixture. The prominent fireplace serves as a central point, immediately imparting a cozy atmosphere upon entry. The fact that this is a Shouse astounds many when they view our interior photos – precisely what we aimed for!
The Palermo Farmhouse
Transformed into a captivating and harmoniously stylish haven, this charming farmhouse showcases an abundance of innate charm that made the renovation process an absolute delight. The rustic allure of the original brick floors and the warmth exuded by the wooden beams and intricate soffit detailing created an ideal canvas for our creative endeavor. With a homeowner who possesses a flair for elegance, subtle touches of glamour manifest in the exquisite backsplash selections and the tasteful choice of light fixtures. In a seamless fusion, we brought together the components of this area by employing a blend of whites and greys, a selection that gracefully enhances the prevailing flooring while preserving its distinct allure. Surprisingly, the core of this metamorphosis centered on integrating new doors and adeptly revitalizing the pre-existing cabinets with a rejuvenating layer of paint. The hood underwent a modern transformation, and the introduction of shiplap to the island effortlessly connects it with the latest design trends. Remarkably, all these enhancements were accomplished without the need for a complete space overhaul.

The building is still owned by my husband and me (Katie), and finding Natalie was a serendipitous match. Collaborating on the design of her home was a true privilege.
